We are devoted to providing environmentally friendly flowers, plants, gifts, and garden supplies. The flowers we offer are Vera Flora and Rainforest Alliance certified, and when in season, local. Our plants in the greenhouse are watered with rainwater and fertilized with worm tea.
We have a network of 4 rain barrels inside the greenhouse.
This is the top tier of our 4 tier worm composter. We feed the worms
plant and flower matter, along with fruits and vegetables.
At the bottom of the worm composter the liquid waste is deposited,
(worm tea). We mix a small amount of the tea with rainwater to
fertilize the plants.
This worm compost (or clay) comes from Neil, our local worm guy.
He manages dozens of worm containers. You can purchase a full
bin from him, or come in and buy a ready-to-go scoop.
